  • Being in the water is my happy place, I love encouraging people to be better swimmers, helping them build confidence, technique and stamina.

It feels like I've been in the pool all my life, swimming competitively for local clubs as a child and continuing to train and compete with masters clubs.

I've found the water is a great place to get fit and work out, but it's also one of the most soothing and healing places to be.

Whatever age or stage of the swimming you are at, I'd love to encourage you on the journey.

Oliver Case

  • Having been at Colets for nearly 6 years, I bring a direct, kind approach to teaching. My background in neuroscience allows me to understand how individuals learn and feel most comfortable in the water. I’m committed to creating a supportive environment where every swimmer can feel empowered, and build confidence and skills.

As a former club swimmer and current neuroscience researcher, I know that learning is most effective when it’s both challenging and enjoyable. My lessons are structured, purposeful, and designed to help you progress; all while ensuring you feel supported, respected, and at ease. I take the time to understand your specific needs and goals, providing clear, compassionate guidance every stroke of the way.

Currently I am doing my MSc and PhD in neuroscience, and I am excited to bringing novel insights to swim instruction. My Saturday sessions are designed to help swimmers of all levels achieve their goals, whether you're taking your first strokes or looking to refine advanced techniques. My goal is to ensure you have a positive, enjoyable experience in the water!
