This summer, we will be making sure that there’s no holiday blues for our members. We may not be able to travel as normal but we can still have a good time. With social events, physical challenges and wellbeing focused sessions, we will have something for all.
On the following pages you should find all you need to know to enjoy these events yourself.
Experience some of the most challenging climbs from cycling’s Grand Tour in our cycle studio as Stefan puts you in the saddle of the riders that are vying for the pink, yellow, and red jerseys.
This will include climbs from Giro d’Italia, le Tour de France + Vuelta a Espana

Tony G and the gang will once again be gracing Colets with their smooth Jazz sounds, if that wasn’t enough will be joined by Boxed Local – Low and Slow BBQ specialists.

Throughout the Summer we will be hosting a number of outdoor events with live music, these are planned as relaxed evenings for the whole family to enjoy – weather permitting.

We’ll be adding Tai Chi, Zen Zone, Emergence Series and a Teen Yoga & Mindfulness to our studio timetable for the summer.
Location: Varied, please check the summer timetable once it’s released.
Date: Tai Chi will start for 6 weeks from 21st July. Zen Zone, Emergence Series and the Teen Yoga & Meditation will run for 5 weeks starting from the 29th July.

How to book: You can book online or at reception up to one week in advance.
What you will need: Please prepare as you would for a yoga or Pilates class.
Cost: These sessions will all be included in your membership. Guest fees will apply for non-members.
Beginners Courses, Junior Coaching and Squash Week! Squash week will start on Monday 23rd August and will include a Racketball taster club night, a ladies only club night and a squash social.

Challenge yourself this summer with our 2021 Triathlon! Using our IC7 bikes, luxurious 25m pool and beautiful grounds, we will be hosting a triathlon for all members and non-members (16+) who wish to take part!
It will consist of a 400m swim, a 20km ride, followed by a 5km run.
Location: Café bar meet.
Date: Sunday 8th August
Time: TBC
How to book: Please email info@colets.co.uk – remember to include your predicted 400m swim time and t-shirt size.
What you will need: Swimming Costume, a towel, clothes to cycle and run in. We’ll be using the spin bikes so you can bring cleats if you like. You may also want to bring goggles and a swim hat.
Cost: £20
VC Colets will be hosting a family fun ride all in the name of Momentum Children’s Charity. Ride in your own family group or sign up individually and we’ll assign you a group. There will be a 2 or 3 hour option and both will have and food and drink stop on route. All groups will be accompanied by at least one VC Colets rider.
Location: Meet on the Colets field and cycle around Surrey
Date: 1st August
Time: 10am Meet for bike health check and 12pm rollout
How to book: Please email Stefan, don’t forget to let us know whether you want to cycle for 2 hours or 3.
What you will need: A bike, we suggest a good quality mountain bike, road bike or hybrid. All riders will be required to wear a helmet and suitable clothing. Don’t forget a drink and sun cream if it’s hot.
Cost: This is all in the name of charity, however much you wish to donate is what you’ll pay.
Looking for a fitness challenge to compete in as a group? Then look no further with Bailey’s Bootcamp Adventure Race. Available for those aged 12+ to participate in on the 31st July – speak to Bailey for more information about what to expect!
