Meet the Member – Anna

Jan 28, 2020 |

We chatted to mum Anna about what she enjoys the most about being able to leave her child in the care of the crèche team.

Could you start by telling me a little bit more about when and why you decided to join Colets? I joined Colets a few months after my son was born. Colets offered so much: a well equipped gym, nice pool, lovely changing rooms, a café with wifi and an affordable option to allow me to make the most of the facilities.

Why did you initially want to use the crèche facilities? As a first time mum with no family in the local area I needed an opportunity to exercise, shower, dress and sit enjoying a cup of coffee. The crèche gives me the opportunity to do this.

How did you feel about first leaving your child in crèche? Of course I was a little nervous for the first time but the staff were very reassuring and I knew that they would come and get me if Jacob needed me.

Why do you feel comfortable about leaving your child in crèche? Jacob saw the same members of staff every time he visited and was able to form strong bonds with them. After a while he would smile as we approached the crèche and reach out to greet the staff members there. I was comfortable because he was comfortable.

What is it you like the best about being able to use the crèche? It’s really convenient if you’re using the facilities and its top-quality care at affordable prices.

How would you say using the crèche  is helping you make the most of the club? Without the crèche I wouldn’t be able to use the club at all as I have no other childcare options.

How would you describe the crèche? A welcoming space where the children are well looked after by experienced, friendly staff.
